So I just saw it was Carla Gugino's birthday last week, so in tribute I thought I'd put a screen grab up of one of many scenes we did together back in 2006 for a TV show called Threshold I was consulting on. She was then, and still is now, one of my favorite people to work with! Happy birthday Carla!

blew my mind today! In one of the oldest events in the Olympics, she looked like a true Spartan warrior as she dominated the battlefield. If you haven't watched this phenom throw the discus, YOU NEED TO! It's pure inspiration.
Her talent is second to none and is the opitome of what it means to be an Olympian. And after you watch her win gold, learn her story. She reminds us all that we can find greatness through the most random of inspirations and that it's OK to change our paths!

My friend Ben over at CAST PARTNERS asked me if I'd want to bring anyone in for a casting session for an clothing company tomorrow. Post here if you want to go and I'll give you the address, but PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS BELOW:

Ben is one of my favorite casting directors and he and I and our teams cast all the USAA print and industrial stuff together, So he's 100% legit, and this will pay well.

AGE RANGE 22-28, they are very adamant about this.
SPECS: ANY VETERAN fitting that age range! , All ethnicities, men and women, all shapes and sizes.
NOTES FROM CLIENT:
We are interested in all body shapes, they do not need to be lean and in shape. We really want a range. want then to be able to talk about personal stories of strength, grit and bravery while they were serving, combat and noncombat.

SHOOT: LA for one day between Dec 14th - 16th

CASTING: Tommorow between
10am - 12:30pm
or 2pm - 4pm

WHAT TO WEAR: please wear jeans and a plain white TSHIRT

I have a big demo and hardwood floor job. Want to give work to vets first. Let me know
