20 pages left to do for Any Small Town by tomorrow. Started a rewrite and did just that now I am in the final stretch before the next revision. Then it's off to finish The Second (a.k.a. The Thirsty Blade). Definitely need to take a screen writing course. Always got high marks for any writing course, fingers crossed this goes over well for a movie based on a dream. Peace!

The latest project is a book/script as I have yet to decide which, or even both, who knows. It is based on some very odd dreams that I have flushed out. The odd thing is once again I have made it to 25 pages the benchmark many writers say they reach if writing from a dream; hence why it is not good to structure things from dreams. They can be parts of a whole, but generally not the main focus. I am honestly beginning to think there is a correlation between how much dream we remember and put to page roughly hitting a 25 page benchmark. That would be something.

Well, The Thirsty Blade is coming along nicely.
Any Small Town. I have had some solid reviews from several different people (many thanks to them!!) and each had solid things to say. So, I will be connecting those finale sections and sending it out for a professional review of my first draft and go from there. Fingers crossed.

Proud to say I am moving forward with ThaMassiz and uploading and installing this CMS site is taking forever! Weeeeee the fun of web/digital design. A lot of UX/UI design too do so that everything is quick easy and ready for use.
I can't wait, as it's the first streaming media site that I have incorporated into eCommerce, live chat, and extensive user logs, tracking, and posting. Yup, fun fun!

Well, it's been a joy to work in a medium and in an area I've always wanted to create for, movie posters.
Here you will find the latest (mostly complete) renditions of 14 or so short films starring Tommy Otis.
All of the movies were a low resolution for the size I made these and a few still need touch up work, color corrections, and some masking fixes otherwise these are the latest additions to my Key Art section for my portfolio. Fingers crossed it helps land a gig doing and working within an industry I love.

Also of late I have been working on an area that I have always wanted to work on, and quite excited to reveal some of the work that has been so far. I do wish I had some higher res images for some but I make it work, because I am make the impossible possible! As a few friends and colleagues have said.

ThaMassiz! A custom website with streaming media, live interviews and real-time interaction with viewers. The site is about a movement to educate, motivate, and elevate people to be healthy, get involved with politics or at least be in the "now", lifestyle branding, and clothing line.
Very excited about this project as I have been given only 1, yes, 1 asset (the logo) and a color scheme, and limited information about the overall scope. Love it!!
I dig challenges, and so far the client is happy with the design, the direction I have am taking him with the ecommerce and streaming services, so, that makes me happy!
Here is his logo and a couple rough comps.
The client has chosen the 2nd comp (w/city) ignoring that this is a site about environmental safety as well, and healthy living etc. so instead we get an Urban Apparel-esque site that is dark and gloomy. But, hey it's all about the client and making them happy.
Period!

Almost finished up with Harrington Alumni Association, a square space site (not a fan) I was tasked to edit and redesign a bit as well as make it possible for the administrators to post new alumni, connect that to MailChimp, and if they stick with me, hopefully do some marketing collateral for them.
