Hello FB friends and dancers. Tomorrow's Dance Session will be the last for a while as i'm stepping away to focus on other things. Here's the note/email I sent to the community.

Hello again friends and dancers. I'm hoping you will join this Saturday for what will be my last session with you for a while.
I'm stepping away from my LADC DJ'ing and Board activities for now. I'll still be around and may see you on various dance floors and events but the time has come for me to step away.
Two reasons: One is that attendance for our sessions in general and mine in specific are down and it's not been financially relevant/viable for me for a while. It's not all about the money but as we all need decide how we allocate our time . . .
Reason Two. I'm focusing my creative energy on two film projects that I intend to direct and shoot in the next year. They are both music driven feature film projects and I'm very excited about them (and very busy.) Happy to talk more about them with you individually in the future. . . and to generally stay in touch.
My first DJ Set/dance with you was on Sept 4, 2021. We were still dancing masked, zooming, and in the general confusion of that time. I'm grateful to Georgianne and the Board for giving me the opportunity to find my way with the dance floor and culture of the collective.
And to each of you who danced and laughed and cried and showed me how the music moved you every week: I grew and it changed me as a DJ, as a musician, and as a man.
