♻️💿🧐 No mail or online additions to report, so what the heck… let’s add another quintet of titles to the OOP-alooza section. Today’s batch is all UK discs, with offerings from Eureka, 88 Films, and Artificial Eye included.

💻📱 No arrivals to report, however there is a new round of additions to 4xblu’s online store. Nearly half of today’s titles are making their online store debut so it may take longer than usual to post everything, but they should be up for grabs in an hour or two.

💻📱 No mail this weekend, however a new batch of 4xblu online store additions is ready to be revealed. Today’s bundle is mostly restocks so everything should be posted within the next hour or so.

📬🇬🇧 Mail time! Today’s arrivals consist of two new additions to the shop’s inventory (Blu-ray editions of Hirokazu Kore-eda’s “Maborosi” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Polytechnique”), a customer requested copy of “The House of Mirth” by Terence Davies, plus 21 restocks.

No mail this weekend. The order I placed Monday had a couple of titles that took a few days to round up. The shipment is scheduled for delivery Monday so it should be at the store next weekend.

In the meantime, here’s a pic of my newest personal acquisitions. The Paul Naschy sets are actually for my wife’s collection.

My favorite Tony Rayns bit was when he would do an interview for a Masters of Cinema release and point out, sometimes more than once, that the director of the film he was there to talk about was NOT, in fact, a Master of Cinema. R.I.P.

⚽️🇧🇷⚽️ SOCCER ALERT ⚽️🇧🇷⚽️ Huge game today at 1:00 PM. If you have plans to visit the shop, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to come through after 3:30 or 4:00, because during the game Brazilians will be packed into the courtyard like sardines. Also, parking is virtually nonexistent.

I have spoken with the restaurant management and been assured that, if customers for the store arrive during the game, they will be let in (they charge admission because food is served in addition to showing the match). If they refuse to let you in, call the store and I will come get you. You should also be able to get in through the market.
