Every year we see so many of you filming your nights at the Christkindlmarkt. So this year we’re trying something new. We’re hand-picking a small group of content creators to capture the magic of the Markt in their own way and share it with their followers.

We’ll set each creator partner up with $200 in food tokens for our vendors, a $200 Christkindlmarkt gift card for rentals and rides, plus $100 in merch.

Spots are very limited for our first year. If you’ve got a knack for capturing the magic of the season, we’d love to hear from you.

It takes a big team to bring Christkindlmarkt to life every year, and a lot of that team is volunteers. Plenty of them are students earning hours for clubs and scholarships, and plenty just love being part of the season.

Cullman, made the list!

Travel + Leisure has named Cullman Christkindlmarkt one of the 10 Coolest Christmas Markets in the U.S. for 2026, right alongside New York City, Chicago, Bethlehem, Carmel, and Leavenworth. We're the only market in the South to make it.

"Cullman Christkindlmarkt is a remarkable Alabama tourism success story," said Governor Kay Ivey. "In only a few years, it has grown into a nationally recognized destination that welcomes visitors from all 50 states while celebrating Cullman's German heritage and the Southern hospitality that makes Alabama special."

None of that happens without the hundreds of vendors, volunteers, city crews, and local businesses who show up every year to build it. This recognition belongs to all of you.

The 2026 Cullman Christkindlmarkt opens November 19 and runs through December 23. Admission is free, as always.
