Tahauny Cleghorn is the choreographer at Wallace State Community College. A Cullman native who
earned her BFA in musical theatre from the University of Montevallo, Tahauny has been active in the arts
scene all over Alabama as a performer, choreographer, and teacher, and has most often been seen on
the Next Great Americans tour as Libby Liberty by elementary schoolers all around the state. Some
recent highlights include choreographing Sunday In the Park With George at Terrific New Theatre to open
their brand new theatre space, appearing as Jean Louise in the Virginia Samford Theatre’s production of
To Kill a Mockingbird, and the premiere of her original dance work “Sixteen Tons: The Women of Sloss
Furnace” with Gradient Dance Theatre on location at Sloss Furnace in Birmingham,
David Strickland is a Birmingham based director and actor, appearing recently as Charles Guiteau in Assassins. He has assistant directed at some of the finest regional theatres in the country, including The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta GA and Goodspeed Opera House and East Haddam, CT. David’s recent directing credits include Sunday in the Park with George and The Events at Terrific New Theatre, and To Kill A Mockingbird at Virginia Samford Theatre. Next month, he will direct the world premier of Growing Up With Atticus, written with and starring Mary Badham and Cecilia Peck, about being the onscreen and real life daughter of one of the most notable actors in history.
