I do have one more foster baby looking for a good home. He’s an absolute sweetie head love butt, he’s litter box trained, and gets along with other cats (he’s never met a dog before but honestly he’s chill and would probably be fine)

Don’t forget, people, that need pretty specific anatomy to get the best and longest life out of them, especially since surface work in such a high movement area has a better chance of migration and even sometimes rejection.

This is a long one, but bear with me.

There are very VERY few nurses who end their career and take years out of their lives to become a LICENSED body piercer.
Nurses are not trained as piercers. Piercers are not trained as nurses. If I were to start advertising myself as someone who can perform a nurse’s duties without the proper licensure or training that wouldn’t be ok.
If you see a nurse advertising piercing services I’d be extremely extremely skeptical of them. They don’t use the appropriate jewelry, the guns/hand pressure devices they use and their set up overall are NOT sterile. Not to mention the harm that comes from the act of FORCING jewelry into the tissue opposed to a clean cut and appropriate jewelry insertion. Or god forbid they use their handy dandy catheter needles which are not at all made for piercing. Just because they’re cheaper doesn’t mean it’s worth it. Just because they don’t have to follow the law and don’t require the proper documentation for piercing doesn’t mean it’s worth it (if anything that’s feels like a HUGE red flag). Just because they’re nurses doesn’t at all mean they follow proper protocol interacting with blood borne pathogens.
Nurses are not piercers. Nurses are not piercers. And one more time for the people in the back:
NURSES ARE NOT PIERCERS.
I’m genuinely so scared for y’all.
