Cups to replace the usual water glass. My daughter received a set of dishes in this wingstem pattern and reflected kindly to me that it reminded her of her walks in the woods. So nice when your intent is received. I want you to bring those moments of peace into the daily ritual. Hydrating with a vessel that remind you the woods are waiting.

Wishing everyone love and light today and always…. And when I say everyone- I mean it. I’ve recently been getting cyber-bullied (for lack of better description). I’ve been receiving someone else’s pain in the form of aggressive and hateful words. And, it’s served as a reminder that duality is an illusion. My work, my clay, is about love. My imperfect life is about love and I believe the same is potentially true for everyone. We can choose love and compassion; we are all in this together and can choose to build each other up rather than in our fear and confusion tear each other down. I like the Buddhist concept that there is enough compassion for everyone. It’s like a deep blue velvet bag, where you reach in looking for comfort and realize inside is the whole universe. There is no limit. I share my pitcher that is so small… but it’s full of compassion for anyone who needs it. Happy new year to you.

In the crush of my move I stockpiled a few more Crozet mugs…. These will be the last ones for this year. Come down to Batesville market and get your favorite Crozet people a one of a kind mug! These are in the floating blue glaze, on stoneware. Dishwater and microwave safe ;)
