I’m so proud of this piece but didn’t get a great photo due to poor lighting when it got dark at 4:30, plus the wraparound, so I’m including the drawing on the last slide! Steven Universe’s Garnet with sapphire and ruby stones and a Georgia O’Keefe inspired floral wreath for Shirley. I had so much fun working with you! “This show hugged me when I so needed to be hugged. I laughed, cried, gasped...all of that. It’ll always be a part of me, so I needed artwork that would effectively be with me forever.”

Billie and I are happy to announce that we’ve been tattooing in a beautiful studio in Greenpoint with our dear friends .tattoo and ❤️ we plan to be here through the spring, when hopefully we will have a vaccine and a pathway to a clear path into the future! For now we are following strict pandemic guidelines and are so grateful to be able work with you in these tough times. Come hang out! Chamomile for Alex ❤️ “Chamomile reminds me of tea my mother would make for me every night as a kid. I also have a severe anxiety disorder and difficult relationship to sleep so chamomile as a tattoo feels healing on an emotional/spiritual level.”

For Amber. Thank you! “It is my "New York" tattoo. after traveling, moving around as an actor I seem to get ahead of myself. And I think instead of a cliche New York symbol, the drawing that best represents me in my 30s is Patience and Strength. It's the only tattoo I Have thought about lately. Definitely black and white. I am open to edits of the drawing if artist feels an impulse to do so. In a sense that art is always evolving with human growth”

Sunflower for Gail. Thanks! “I’ve always loved sunflowers. They are always yearning to grow & are always open up towards the light, but even at night when the light is gone they keep growing. To me, they represent my desire to always be seeking out ways to improve & grow beyond my means & stand as a reminder to look towards the light instead of the dark. “

Accepting January requests: em16.com/book

Cases are going up so a couple things to protest all of us:
1. I will be screening all clients and taking your temp upon arrival.
2. I’m asking that all clients get tested regularly. In nyc, it’s free at testing centers, or you can do an online home test (dm me for a link). I’ll be getting tested every week.
3. Please avoid congregate settings for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. This includes protests, large outdoor gatherings, crowded cafes that are not open air and safely distanced, taking off masks around folks who are not in your pod. If you must take public transit please take extreme caution and keep a distance from others. If you fly outside of the state, please make sure your travel is completed 2 weeks before your appointment. All of this applies to folks you pod closely with. I’m taking these precautions.
