Crossville’s Downtown area is nice….especially with Main St being newly paved. It is full of history, beautiful architecture and shopping but let’s face it not every business can be on Main St. Dogwood Exchange was Downtown for 7 of the 10 years we have been open… but we were not on Main St.

Operating a small business is hard. Getting your business’s name and services out to the community is hard. Some organizations attempt to help but Main St is usually the focus. Obviously this is my opinion but I am confident others share this view.

In an effort to help other small business, what non Main St business do you love? Give them a shoutout in the comments and maybe why you love them. It is also a great way for others to learn about small business they might not be familiar otherwise.

The Dogwood Exchange sign came down today. The driveway stone pillars have been completed, double gates have been installed and the opener will be wired tomorrow which means…..no more public traffic to the cabin and barn. What does this mean? Stay tuned.

Family life is changing and so is Dogwood Exchange. Our family is blessed and life is good!
