We are so proud of our Jet Theatrix students, Alex and McKenzie,who ran lights and sound, as well as Dani and Lilly, who sang in the Mandy Barnett benefit concert for our Jets Football team!

Summer is underway, and our seniors have graduated and started new adventures. Here was a glimpse of # their last moments in Jet Theatrix cast/crew.

One of the cool things about Jet Theatrix members is that they are great at multi-tasking. When most of our student body has disappeared into the ether for the summer, a few are still making art. Band and theatre shares a large portion of students, and not only do these also play in the community band, but they helped out as theatre kids volunteering to help take photos for the 25th anniversary concert celebration!

A really big shout out to our newest graduate Elijah, who is now not only a licensed pilot, but was awarded a scholarship from the community band tonight!

“On the 15th of May, in the Jungle Of Nool…” our Jet Theatrix seniors graduated from school!

We are so proud of our Theatrix Class of 2026 seniors who closed our Palace Era and ushered us into our auditorium era, complete with all its FIRSTS. First show, first musical theatre concert, first original piece to dedicate our space, first MUSICAL! They’ve learned new equipment, built new sets, created new traditions. They’ve founded our International Thespian Society Troupe, they’ve competed and won spots to regional and state distinction.

We will miss them.

We are super proud of our graduating stage manager/lighting designer McKenzie Rutherford, who just received the very first Bob Woodward Technical Theatre Scholarship at the Cumberland County Playhouse! We are going to miss her, but we are excited to see what she does with her amazing talents and leadership skills.

Senior Theatrix members did their first graduation walk this morning, so it only made sense that we do our goodbye photo shoot together this afternoon in their regalia. We will miss their talent, leadership, and tenacity! Thank you for helping us start in our new space, and we couldn’t have had a better group for the first full year of our auditorium era!
