Our second Saturday Story Hour was a huge success! ✨📚

Children enjoyed books about our big, beautiful world and created a variety of nature-inspired crafts. They explored leaf textures through leaf rubbings, designed nature collages, and took a stroll through the flower garden to create nature bracelets. Along the way, new friendships were formed through exploration, creativity, and literature.

Join us for our next Saturday Story Hour with Miss Marilyn on Saturday, June 6, from 9:30–10:30 a.m.! 🐄🌾

This month’s theme is farm animals, and each child will create their very own farm scene.

Help Shape the Future of Walking & Biking Safety in the Brainerd Lakes Area! 🚴‍♂️🚶

The City of Crosslake, along with regional partners, is developing a Walking & Biking Safety Plan to improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians, bicyclists, and other non-motorized travelers across the Brainerd Lakes Area.

We want to hear from YOU! Community feedback will help identify safety concerns, opportunities for improvement, and future priorities throughout the region.

The Summer Saturday Reading Hour has officially kicked off!

Kids ages 4 months through 12 years had a fantastic time enjoying monster-themed stories, drawing creative pictures inspired by the books, reading more together, and finishing with a fun parent-child craft project.

We’re excited to partner with volunteers from the Crow Wing County Master Gardeners Program as we work to revitalize our Patio Garden! This is a great opportunity to learn more about gardening, plant maintenance, and help beautify a shared community space.

Volunteers will help assess the current state of the garden, discuss maintenance plans, and complete some hands-on cleanup and upkeep.
