The 41st Annual Crosslake Art Show hosted August 6-7-8 by the Art Club of Crosslake wrapped up last Saturday afternoon with record crowds attending the three-day event and voting for a favorite piece of art each day.
On Thursday the winner was Kathi Mann with a stunning six foot canvas oil-painting of a horse, entitled “Check It Out.”
Day Two on Friday the winner of People’s Choice went to Cheryl Larson with her lovely detailed oil painting called “Teapot Portrait.”
On Day Three the visitors to the Art Show chose as their winner Andra Ganske and her realistic oil painting of a fighting bass called “Lunch at the Lake.”
Close to thirty artists showed their fine art over the course of the show, specializing in everything from watercolor to acrylic to oil, with excellent examples of turned wood and pottery also shown. Pequot Lakes High School Graduate and 2026 Scholarship Recipient Madison Cochran also displayed her superior artwork at the show.
Members of the Art Club of Crosslake would like to thank all those who attended; and also those who supported the 2027 Scholarship Fund that will go to one of next year’s Pequot Lakes graduates.

Some Fun Friday moments for you -- from Day 2 ( of three!) of the Art Show being put on by the Art Club of Crosslake at the Crosslake Community Center. Come and see all the beautiful art and meet the fun artists from 10 am to 4 pm tomorrow (Saturday!) on our final day of the 2026 Show. Allow extra time to make your way through town…there’s a lot going on in Crosslake with the Camp K Quilt Auction, Car Show, Firefighters’ Pork Feed, Moonlite Bay Cardboard Boat Races and all! A dash of friendship, a load of talent; fold in some fun, whip in some work, open the doors and bring in guests… it all added up to Day One of the 2026 Crosslake Art Show!! See you all tomorrow at the Crosslake Community Center for Day 2 of this fabulous event! Open from 10 am to 4 pm. 🎨☀️🥳
