Piece update: My first time recreating a photograph in fused glass, made with love for a very special reason. 🛠️🔥Capturing a beloved pet's likeness in glass requires careful cutting, layering, and trusting the kiln. Working on these distinctive merle markings and those beautiful, mismatched eyes was a wonderful learning experience for my first photo-to-glass project.But more importantly, this piece honors sweet Sybil, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Sybil belongs to a very dear friend of mine, and it means the world to me to create something that captures her beautiful spirit and sweet expression forever in glass. 🌈✨
