I have 4 dozen eggs gathered in the last 4 days. Free pickup in town tomorrow morning. DM for a price.

We purchased our chicks 5 months ago. It takes time to get laying hens. But here we are!

Walmart will give you a used by date. And that always struck me as comforting.

But you know what I remember from the first conscientious farmer I bought eggs from?

"These were gathered yesterday."

Thr box store never told me that. And that made me pause.

I've never been what you call crunchy.

But what a mind set shift that has been for me. Let's not ask "how long will my fridge keep it before borderline spoilage", but "how fresh can I get it." (Which, funny enough, does mean it will keep longer.)

Do you ever take time to just be? I dont mean veg on your phone or stare at the TV. I mean spending your leisure time enjoying what's already around you.
