Crisfield Halloween House Fun Halloween display in Crisfield, MD for kids and adults alike! Trick-or-treaters welcome! Spooky decorations in abundance, but NO jump scares.

Decorations are typically on display late September through early November. Come check us out!

Well, mother nature made sure the exit to spooky season was dramatic. We've been taking stuff down as time permits, but last night's wind had other plans for the ferris wheel. We woke up to a hard lean. Attempts to bring it back upright so it was safe to work around resulted in a collapse into the hedges.
Thanks to those who stopped to try to help. Ultimately it was too heavy to pull from the shrubs, so the only choice was to take it to pieces where it sat. It's definitely salvageable and we wanted to make some modifications anyway. We'll just rebuild it next year.

Once again, we want to thank the wonderful Crisfield community for an awesome spooky season. Trick or treat was lots of fun. I didn't get a ton of pictures because the crowds just kept coming! Great costumes and great friends. The decorations will be up for another few days as we prepare our storage building. We'll see everyone around town until next October!

Just a reminder we'll now be welcoming trick or treaters tomorrow, November 1st, between 4:30 pm and 8:00 pm to more closely align with the town of Crisfield's recommendations. We want to give everyone a chance to get here for their treats.

The wind today wasn't as bad as predicted, although we did see some scary gusts today. The skeletons have their arms again and the ferris wheel will be running tonight. Despite the postponement of trick or treat, the display will be fully functional this evening. See you soon!

The Town of Crisfield has postponed the trick or treat event until tomorrow, November 1st, due to ongoing issues with standing water covering streets and sidewalks in town. Although we're not having any issues with standing water, we will be postponing our trick or treat activities as well to make it easier for locals to visit us and the Crisfield event on the same night. We will run on the same schedule as the Town of Crisfield. We look forward to seeing everyone in their costumes! Stay safe and stay dry!

We're in for some pretty crazy winds tonight and tomorrow daytime. In order to keep our display in tip top shape for the kiddos on Halloween night, we'll be laying a few things down and taking the arms off the big skeletons for this evening. Hopefully the weather will cooperate tomorrow night so we can have a great Halloween!

Crisfield Halloween House is once again welcoming trick or treaters this Halloween! We'll have a table set up out front on the 31st during the same trick or treat hours as the Town of Crisfield, 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm. We may stay out a bit later for those stopping by when leaving the main event inside town limits. See you soon!

Our Secure-A-Skelly brackets are working overtime today, but they're definitely working. It's super important to properly secure your big Halloween decor in order to protect both your investment and people who may be nearby. There are pictures of broken props all over Facebook today. Adding weight or extra stakes to the base is not enough. 12 foot Skeletons are giant levers. On a windy day, physics will win and his ankles will buckle and bend. That's why we always add support lines at the waist of our props. It keeps them from getting damaged and prevents people from getting hurt.
