We are excited to share some positive news! After weeks of demolition, cleanup, inspections, and planning, we have officially received approval to begin the construction phase of our restoration. This is a major milestone in our journey back, and we are thrilled to finally see things moving forward.

While there is still work to be done, this brings us one step closer to reopening our doors and welcoming everyone back. We appreciate the patience and support our sponsors, patrons, employees, and community have shown throughout this process.

We would also like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming kindness, prayers, messages, and support shown following the passing of Cowboy. Your thoughtful words and memories have meant so much to our family and the entire Tazewell Bingo Center community during this difficult time. He touched the lives of so many people, and the outpouring of love has been a tremendous source of comfort.

Thank you for continuing to stand by us through these challenges. We will continue providing updates as construction progresses and look forward to sharing more exciting news in the weeks ahead.

This week’s Tazewell Bingo Center update looks a little different.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our legends, Cowboy 🤠, affectionately known as Pop.

Pop was a cherished member of the Tazewell Bingo Center family whose presence, stories, and spirit touched so many lives. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we take time to mourn this tremendous loss, we kindly ask for patience and respect as our team grieves alongside Pop’s family and loved ones. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.

We will return to our regularly scheduled business updates soon. Until then, thank you for keeping Pop, his family, and the entire Tazewell Bingo Center family in your thoughts and prayers.

We wanted to provide a brief update following the fire incident on May 3rd. Our team continues to work closely with contractors and other professionals as repairs and restoration efforts move forward. While we still do not have a definitive reopening date at this time, we are hopeful that we will be back up and running within the next few weeks.

We truly miss all of our sponsors, patrons, and employees, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back with open arms — bigger and better than before.

We wanted to provide an update following the fire incident on May 3rd. While the incident resulted in more extensive damage than initially anticipated, our team has been working closely with contractors and other professionals to carefully assess and repair everything properly. We are committed to addressing all damage thoroughly so that we can return safely and confidently. The safety and well-being of our patrons, sponsors, and employees remain our highest priority throughout this process. We are hopeful to reopen within the coming weeks with a refreshed and improved environment for everyone to enjoy.

For those who were present during the incident, we want you to know that we remain committed to making things right. Unfortunately, due to contamination of supplies caused by the incident, along with applicable rules and regulations, we are unable to resume or complete any remaining games from that evening.

At this time, we are unable to process or address reimbursement requests until our facility has reopened. Once we reopen, reimbursement can only be handled in person at our location. Guests who attended that evening are welcome to visit us regarding reimbursement. If you still have your receipt, please bring it with you. If not, we will work with you to verify your attendance and ensure you are appropriately taken care of.

We truly appreciate the patience, support, and kindness we have received from our community during this time. To help keep everyone informed, we will be providing weekly updates on our page regarding our progress and reopening timeline. We wanted to provide an update regarding the fire incident that occurred on May 3rd. Our team is working diligently alongside contractors to address the damage as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

While this unfortunate event has temporarily closed our doors, we are excited to share that we hope to reopen within the next few weeks — better than ever. We are taking this opportunity to make several major cosmetic upgrades to both our kitchen and main floor areas.

We also want to reassure everyone who was in attendance during the incident that evening that we remain committed to reimbursing customers appropriately. Once we reopen, please bring your receipt from that evening to our location and we will compensate you accordingly. If you no longer have your receipt, please let us know — we will verify your attendance and ensure you are reimbursed appropriately.

We wanted to provide an update regarding the recent fire incident. We are still actively working through the recovery process and addressing everything related to the event.

To everyone who has reached out with concerns regarding reimbursement for play that was interrupted the night of the fire, please know that we are working toward a solution and all affected patrons will be reimbursed appropriately. We kindly ask for your patience as we work through these matters carefully and fairly.

At this time, we remain closed until further notice while we work alongside our team and contractors to restore operations as quickly and safely as possible. We are committed to reopening and coming back better than ever.

On the evening of May 3rd, Tazewell Bingo Center experienced a small kitchen fire in our utility room. The situation was handled quickly, and we are actively working to address everything as soon as possible.

All sessions for tonight, May 4th, are canceled, including Festival Monday. Festival Monday will be rescheduled for later this month, and we will share updated details as soon as they are available.

We are incredibly grateful to our employees and local first responders for their swift action in helping keep our players and community safe. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support—we truly appreciate it. Please continue to watch our page for updates in the coming days.
