One whole year of Miss June!

We had the absolute joy of creating this beautiful custom helium balloon bouquet for a very special little girl's 1st birthday. For June’s big milestone, we curated a soft, sunset-inspired palette featuring 10 latex balloons in shades of:
🌸 Pretty pink
🌷 Soft mauve
🍊 Warm orange
☀️ Cheerful yellow

The whole arrangement is topped off with a custom cream jumbo number 1 balloon personalized just for her! Whether you are celebrating a first birthday or a fiftieth, we love bringing your party visions to life. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your family's big moments!

Happy Birthday, Miss June!

Something exciting is inflating behind the scenes at Crete Balloon Creations!

Our workspace is officially covered in high-quality latex, shimmering curling ribbons, and our new helium tank—which can only mean one thing. A brand new, jaw-dropping balloon bouquet arrangement is officially in the works, and we cannot wait to reveal the finished design to you all very soon!

While we put the final, magical touches on this custom creation, we wanted to pop in and answer a few of the most frequently asked questions we get about helium balloons:

How long do helium balloons actually float?
Standard, untreated latex balloons generally float for about 8 to 12 hours indoors. Foil (Mylar) balloons are much less porous and can stay afloat beautifully for 3 to 5 days, or sometimes even longer!

Can we make latex balloons last longer?
Absolutely! For our long-lasting arrangements, we treat our latex balloons with a special interior liquid sealant called Hi-Float. This creates a protective coating that slows down helium loss, extending your balloon’s indoor float time to 2–3 days.

Does the weather affect the balloons?
Yes, helium is highly sensitive to temperature. Hot air and direct sunlight cause the helium gas to expand rapidly, which can pop the balloons. Cold air causes the helium molecules to shrink, making the balloons look temporarily deflated until they warm back up to normal room temperature.

Stay tuned to our page—the big reveal is dropping soon!
