The Doane music department is grieving the loss of Randy Bargman, a custodian in the Doane Communications Building for 27 years. He died last week after a short battle with colon cancer. Randy was always willing to serve our music students and help out in any way with our concerts and various events. We'll all miss him. The Doane Choir was asked by the family to provide music for the service, which is at 10:30 AM this coming Thursday morning, at the First Congregational Church here in Crete. One of the 2 pieces we'll be singing is "Precious Lord" and we'd welcome any and all alumni to come and join us.

We are all thinking about and praying for Randy's family. He will be so missed.

We are so lightly here.

NEW TIGER THURSDAY!?!? We were blessed to have so many new vocal music students that we will be posting TWICE a week this semester! We are delighted to welcome Gracie and Angie into our program this year!

Day 1 of Doane Choir was a success! We were able to meet in the beautiful band room of our new performing arts center while we are waiting for the new choir room to be complete. We are so happy to welcome some new tigers to our choir as well as to rejoin hands with our friends from last year! It’s always great to get to see everyone on the first Wednesday of the school year. We may not have sang today, but the room was full of excitement!
