It feels good to have my desire to get my paints out again. This week I’ve felt like doing some whimsical pieces and some paintings that have been on my wish list for several years.

This one is painted on a wood slice with the bark on the edge that is 9-10 inches round.

Fall is here. That means it’s time for Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s annual Festival of the Arts. This year’s celebration of art, music, food and family fun is set for the weekend of October 29-30

“Red Wine” has left my Studio to go to his home. So happy my clients loved him. The painting is 24x36 a size that I don’t do often enough. It has inspired me to Go Big again.

With everyone thinking of Pumpkin Spice I turn to all things Fall. Here is my first of the season. It is 6x6 on a Deep Gallery Wrapped Canvas. It will be available at the Perfect Hues Festival at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Labor Day Weekend. That is a nightly show starting Friday through Sunday 5:00-10:00 each night.
