Congratulations!! 8 individual All-State nominations is a Creston record! We're so proud of everyone!

Creston speech team had a successful day at state individuals yesterday at Thomas Jefferson HS in Council Bluffs - all students performed so well and we are proud of their accomplishments! 9 performances received a 2-rating and 28 performances received a 1-rating!

This season would not have been a success without the support of students’ families and the Creston community - thank you to all who supported the team!

Now we wait until tomorrow evening for all-state nominations! Stay tuned!

Creston speech team had a GREAT showing at the Walnut Hill Invitational on Saturday, March 7. We had 9 students place in 10 categories! We finished in 2nd place as a team! Students worked so hard and gave their all! We are so proud of them and their efforts - well done everyone!

Creston Speech Team competed at East Union for Individuals District this weekend -- we had 51 performances from 32 students, and 40 performances received 1 ratings and advanced to the State competition!

We are so proud of everyone who performed and grateful for everyone who supports students by attending! Thank you!

Our team will attend Walnut Hill Invitational on March 7 and State in Council Bluffs on March 14.

CHORAL READING WON THE BANNER!!!! "The Yellow Wallpaper" was selected as the critic's choice out of 20 Choral Readings from schools of all sizes across the state. It's like winning the state championship in sports. We couldn't be prouder of their performance and Kylor and Noah's group improv performance. They both performed their best ever!! It was an amazing day!!!

To top off how amazing these kids are, they were all for stopping along the way to visit my mom in the hospital. We wanted to share the celebration with her since she helped with feedback after their District performance in January. You see my mom had 2 massive strokes less than a week after Districts and has been in the hospital since. She cheered "yea" over and over since she knew exactly what winning a banner means. Everyone was incredibly touched by the moment of sharing the joy with her. Not a dry eye left that room. So many full circle moments and happy tears this weekend! 😢❤️

Three groups received All-State nominations! Choral Reading "The Yellow Wallpaper" and Budrow/Richardson Group Improv will perform on Saturday, Feb. 21 at ISU. Musical Theatre "Parade" will receive special recognition. We're so proud of all the kids and their hardwork!
