Midwest Artisans Group will be closed today. We will also be closed on Saturday September 5 and 7th for Labor Day Weekend. If you have an appointment with Stephanie on those days she will still be open. Thanks and have a wonderful day.

At 9:30 tonight Keith called to let me know the gas pump lights didn’t go on. He had worked on plumbing in today and thought he had forgotten to turn the breaker back on. Turns out it was a bit more than that. For those that haven’t met Keith you are missing out. He’s a truly humble and good person. Thank you for all you do and for making a big difference. The pumps are now lit!

Today’s projects are to get the pumps lit, the gothic lights gone and replaced with era correct bubblegum lights. As bright as it is here at night we are going to move the day/ night switch away from the underneath of the station.

Good morning Cresco! Here are two artisans of the day. Kelly Praska is not officially an artisan at the shop but what she does through her memory animals is amazing! In case there are people who don’t know about this let me explain. Kelly creates these wonderful animals using clothing from loved ones that are no longer with us. It’s a wonderful way to have something tangible everyday that reminds you of them. Thank you Kelly for what you do.
The second artisan for today is an Amish gentleman who makes cedar chests.
