Creedmoor City Hall & Creedmoor Community Center will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Both will resume normal hours on Tuesday, September 8.

City of Creedmoor Parks and Recreation Awarded $238,323 Grant

The City of Creedmoor Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded $238,323 from the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) to support improvements at the Creedmoor Community Center. The award requires a 1:1 local match, resulting in a total project investment of $476,646.

The project will include the development of a new playground, designated volleyball area, and covered picnic shelter at the Community Center. These amenities will provide additional opportunities for recreation, physical activity, family gatherings, and community events.

The project is consistent with the priorities identified in the City of Creedmoor’s 2026 Parks and Recreation Master Plan and represents a strategic investment in the City's recreational infrastructure. These amenities will create more opportunities for residents of all ages to be active, connect with one another, and enjoy quality recreational spaces.

The City of Creedmoor thanks the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund for its investment and support of projects that enhance recreational opportunities and quality of life for communities across North Carolina.

Mark your calendars!!
The 33rd Annual Creedmoor Music Festival returns to Downtown Creedmoor on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM for a full day of live music, food, shopping, and family fun. This free community celebration features two stages of live entertainment showcasing gospel, bluegrass, country, rock, R&B, and talented local performers.

More than 150 vendors and Main Street merchants will line downtown with unique crafts, local products, festival favorites, and delicious food. Families can enjoy the Kid’s Corner, featuring free activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Festival-goers can also check out the Bull City Throwback Cruisers Car Cruise-In from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM at Iron Oak Chevrolet. Come spend the day in Creedmoor and experience the community spirit that has made this festival a tradition for more than three decades.
