I want to offer a HUGE THANK YOU to BROTHER'S PIZZA, the BEST pizza place in town, for sponsoring a Fund Raiser to help me and my family. BROTHER'S is a family business, much like my own, and they have BIG hearts as well as FABULOUS food! If you haven't tried their pizza, what are you waiting for? And if you made a purchase last Thursday evening, or put a donation in the jar, thank you for your support as well. I also want to thank RANCHO BRAVO for their love, support, and friendship over the past years, and for contributing so many wonderful dinners when we were so desperately in need. Your generosity astounds me. Thank you, too, to everyone who carried out my trash, serviced my car, provided meals, sent cards and gift cards, including Kroger and Walmart cards, and offered to help in a hundred different ways! Thank you for checking in, calling or texting, and offering to lend a hand. Thank you to anyone who picked up my groceries, or brought food from a food pantry, and for those of you who left gifts on my porch or in my mail. And thank you for all the rides to doctors and hospitals when my own strength failed. Also, I want to thank everyone for your support right down to those desperately needed hugs as well as the invaluable time spent talking, or simply listening. Your love for Jon has given me strength, and your thoughtfulness towards me has kept me going. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. No deed was too small, and every prayer was invaluable. I wish you all a lifetime of Blessings! Love, Jules

Hi all, by now you probably know that I recently lost my beautiful husband. Most of you knew him well, many of you became very good friends, and all of you have most likely frequented our business over the years. Jon was an amazing and gifted musician. He was unique, and so full of talent that he often left me spellbound. It was an honor for me to be at his side, yet alone share the stage with him. He was, to put it simply, my world. I understand that a lot of you are disappointed that he did not want a service, but it is a promise I made, and I am honor bound to keep it. By the same token, I also know how hard it is to gain closure at a time like this. I am struggling far more than you might imagine, and it is impossibly difficult to move forward. That being said, I would like to remind you that Jon’s biggest wish was for everyone to keep his music alive, and to always, always continue playing yourselves! These are the words he would say to you. If you have our albums, please light a candle or some incense, put on your shades, and listen! If you do not own our albums, we are working at getting them up on both YouTube and Spotify. His ashes will be scattered with mine at Yountsville, so if you find yourself crossing the bridge or cruising the area, roll down your windows, crank your music, whatever you are listening to, and think of Jon! Remember, music was Jon’s life and he loved it all. And Yountsville was our beginning and will be our final resting place. The date doesn’t matter as Jon had no real concept of time. Literally everything was the beat. Another thing that mattered greatly to him was to keep all creative projects, including all art forms, in the schools. If you have any influence in this area, consider your endeavors a gift to him. It would make him smile. And if you would like to donate to a charity of his choice, I am going to list the top two. (1) My heart and gratitude go out to Franciscan Hospice Care. These people are Earth Angels. They work extremely hard to support the needs of the community. They work around the clock, and they provide every form of assistance you can imagine. They serve seventeen counties including Montgomery, and all surrounding counties. These are the folks who hugged me when I broke, who assisted Jon when I could not lift him. These are the kind souls that gave me the medications to afford him comfort during our time of crisis. They funded his hospital bed and table, as well as his oxygen concentrator and tanks. They were always a phone call away! And they never, ever let him suffer. Add to all of this, these wonderful souls offer a pastor should you want one, and even offer grief counseling for the caretaker both during and after the crisis. These Angels deserve a HUGE thank you from all of us, and the best way to do that is to help support them financially so that they can continue to help and assist other patients in our area. They are the ones you should call for your loved ones, and they rely on donations to provide the services they offer. If you’re wondering where to send your checks, here is the information you seek: Franciscan Hospice Care, 1501 Hartford Street, Suite 525, Lafayette, Indiana, 47904. I URGE you to send them your donations, and in so doing, you are helping Jon and others like him stay home with their loved ones in comfort. I personally, cannot say enough good things about them, and this to Jon, is far more important than a service, no matter how nice. (2) If you are reluctant for whatever reason, please remember that Remote View Played Benefits for both humans and animals, including Animal Welfare. Jon and I are Nature lovers, and our fur babies have always been family to us. We are the ones who take the problem dogs and cats that are otherwise homeless, so for my second charity, please support our local Animal Welfare or adopt a pet in need. No matter which option you choose, my husband would be proud that you served the greater good, reached out and lent a hand, and helped aid an important cause. Bless you all, with Love, Jules, Wabash Music.

Greetings to everyone wondering about our business here at Wabash Music! I have put this on hold as the future is uncertain. But it is time to announce that my husband, partner, and band mate, Jon, is critically ill. We are, at this time, temporarily closed. I will keep you posted on any changes, but at this point, I just need to let him rest. Prayers, Blessings, and well wishes are welcome. Jon and I have loved and cherished all the many years with all of our valued students, customers, and friends. Thank you. Jules

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!
WABASH MUSIC is now open to students! We want you to feel comfortable as you return to lessons, or begin lessons with us. In an effort to do this, we are continuing SOCIAL DISTANCING. Those of you taking GUITAR and BASS LESSONS will be seated six feet from the teacher as DRUM STUDENTS already have this advantage. We have spent the last few days cleaning and sanitizing our business with YOU in mind. As Jon will continue to SANITIZE before and after each lesson, we ask your patience should you need to wait your turn. In that event you will be given a seat on the other side of the room. Jon will continue to personalize your lessons and interact with each of you in turn. For everyone’s safety we are asking those of you who have family members working in hospitals, nursing homes, or other health care facilities to please remind him of the situation, and in that event he will wear a mask and ask that you, and any family members who accompany you, consider doing the same. In this way, we can offer the safest lessons possible. If you have any concerns I have not thought to cover, PLEASE bring them to our attention. We will also be continuing CURBSIDE REPAIRS for those of you who are not ready to come inside. If you DO come inside, we ask that you remain six feet apart, and leave the instrument to be sanitized and repaired. You will receive a time for pick up. In both cases, please have a written check or the correct amount of cash available and understand our need to sanitize after each payment. If you would like to sign up for lessons at this time, feel free to call (765 361 1857) or leave a message on the WABASH MUSIC page. Thank you for supporting small business, and thank you for SHARING! We are happy to be back!

WABASH MUSIC CURBSIDE REPAIRS

As re-strings and repairs are a vital part of our business, we are now offering curbside jobs for anyone who would feel safer dropping off their instruments and picking them up upon completion. We will even meet you at the door. All you have to do is call us at 765 361 1857 OR message me on our page. Once we discuss your guitar needs, we will take your information, give you an estimated price, and then call you when your guitar is ready for pickup. You will receive an assigned time that works exclusively for you. Cash is required as we no longer have a credit card machine. We thank you for your continued business and want you to know we are working hard to keep you healthy.
