A wonderful time was had by all at our annual cabaret! We announced next year’s season (stay tuned for our announcement here), we enjoyed a collection of performances from our ever-talented cast and crew, we raised funds for Post Playhouse, and we named 2026’s Ann Stephens Award winner.

Dave Redden!

Dave has given his heart and soul to the theatre over the years, serving as someone we could turn to for everything from bringing set to the theatre to fixing a washer. To be named an Ann Stephens Award winner is to give ceaselessly to Post Playhouse, and Dave has done just that and more. How honored we are to have people in our community who care so deeply for us.

Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a curated selection of beverages are included with your donation. We kindly suggest $25 or more per guest.

We're honored to have shared our hope and gratitude with Nebraska Public Media as they told the story of our wildfire recovery and the incredible community supporting us.

Since this story was published, we've reached our original $45,000 Wildfire Recovery Fund goal. Thank you to everyone who continues to donate and spread the word.

The article captures an important chapter in our Comeback Story. While we've reached this milestone, our recovery continues, and we're grateful for the ongoing support that helps us rebuild from canceled performances, emergency expenses, lost attendance, and prepare for seasons to come.

The Post Playhouse at Fort Robinson State Park is trying to raise $45,000 to recover from the South Fork Fire. The 40,000-acre wildfire forced the playhouse to cancel shows, costing it about $25,000.
