Some opportunities remind you to slow down, take a breath, and remember why you started in the first place. This Saturday is one of those moments.

We are incredibly grateful to be collaborating with our friends at Liv Uni and WaterFire Providence to showcase some of New England and Rhode Island’s incredible emerging talent through The Search Showcase.

As we share the performance times and introduce the artists joining us this Saturday from 4 PM to 10 PM, we can’t help but reflect on how fortunate we are to collaborate and create opportunities for our community to shine.

The Search was built on a belief that talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t always equal. Sometimes all someone needs is a stage, someone who believes in them, and a chance to show the world what they can do.

“For me, this has never been just about putting on a show or competition. It’s about community, creativity, connection, and using whatever platform we have to lift others up. The more I learn, the more I realize that the greatest reward isn’t being in the spotlight. It’s helping someone else find theirs.

I’m thankful for the artists who trust us with their gifts, the partners who share our vision, and the people who continue to believe in what we’re building here in Rhode Island.

Most importantly, I’m grateful for the reminder that we all have something to contribute. Sometimes the best thing we can do is open a door, make an introduction, or give someone a chance they might not otherwise have.

Join us this Saturday from 4 PM to 10 PM as we celebrate local talent, community, and the power of coming together through the arts.

Please take a moment to check out the artists, their performance times, and their work. Show them some love, share their names, and come support them if you can!

Thank you to United Way and WaterFire for helping make this possible.

More love, more opportunity, and more reasons to be grateful. Homegrown! ❤️🙏🏻

This Saturday night, we’re grateful to collaborate with our friends at Liv Uni and WaterFire Providence to showcase some of Rhode Island’s greatest emerging talent!

Both organizations represent something special about our state: the power of community, the importance of creating opportunities, and the belief that when we come together, we can make a meaningful difference.

United Way of Rhode Island has spent a century bringing people together to build stronger communities, expand opportunities, support families, and help Rhode Islanders access the resources they need to thrive. Their work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a brighter future.

WaterFire Providence has transformed our capital city into a destination for art, culture, music, and community. Through its internationally recognized public art experience, WaterFire brings people together, celebrates creativity, and helps make Providence a more vibrant place to live, work, and visit.

We’re especially excited to be part of an evening that brings these missions together with the incredible talent emerging right here in Rhode Island. From musicians to performers and artists, our state is filled with creative individuals who deserve opportunities to share their gifts, connect with new audiences, and take the next steps in their journeys.

That’s what community is all about: opening doors, creating platforms, supporting one another, and investing in the next generation.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of it and look forward to a great evening of music, art, and community this Saturday from 4 PM to 10 PM!

Hope to see you there. Let’s celebrate Rhode Island, support our local talent, and continue building something special together.

Some days remind us exactly why we started The Search. ❤️

Being welcomed into the South Boston community for the South Boston Street Fest was one of those days. South Boston Street Fest

Our Search New England community was incredibly grateful to be invited by Boston’s own producer and friend, MC , and to have the opportunity to put our artists on their sponsored stage in front of thousands of people.

Keiyanna Marie Trinidad, Alexa Picillo, Teevio & Sioo brought the Search energy to the stage, opening for Mentor Louie Bello & Neely Luna & Dave Paquette! They represented Rhode Island and New England with so much heart, passion and soul. 🎶

An estimated 10,000 people came together alongside nearly 100 local businesses, nonprofits & artists, two main stages, and one incredible community.

They call it “The Best Day of the Year.” After experiencing it, we understand why.

We are incredibly grateful for the people who continue to believe in The Search, open doors for our artists, and create spaces where creativity and community can come together.

Thank you, South Boston, for welcoming us with open arms. And thank you to Ginger DeShaney for capturing these moments so beautifully.

Community. Creativity. Connection.
That’s what The Search is all about. ❤️

🎬 NEW ENGLAND CREATIVES ON THE BIG SCREEN!

We’re excited to help celebrate the upcoming screening of an incredible local film OUTLIERS at the Mystic Film Festival this Sunday September 27 at 11am!

“Being an artist takes courage and persistence, and even more so with the invention of AI permeating into many facets of work and living.

Featuring 5 artists (a Tintype Photographer, Bladesmith, Leather Artisan, Tattoo Artist, and Master Painter), “Outliers” shares their losses and their wins, and their tenacity to create regardless of the obstacles.

Artists have incredible power and responsibility and “Outliers” is a tribute to the makers of the world where their artistic endeavors are an innate part of who they are.

There’s something special about spending a Sunday surrounded by local businesses, talented artists, great music, and neighbors who make our community so vibrant.

This Sunday, August 2, from 11 AM–2 PM, we invite you to join us at the Garden City Farmers Market as RHODY FOODY and the RI NIGHT MARKET welcome Love Marry Kill & special guests from The Search for an afternoon of live music, local shopping, and community connection.

Every purchase supports a local vendor. Every conversation strengthens our community. Every smile reminds us why these gatherings matter.

Bring your family, invite a friend, shop local, and help us celebrate the people who make Rhode Island such a special place to call home. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

One of our favorite collaborations is happening every Sunday at the Garden City Center Gazebo.

RHODY FOODY + friends invite the community for Sundays Music, with The Search and special homegrown local showcases from throughout our creative state! Enjoy live music this Sunday by one of the world’s best folk musicians Kara McKee and emerging superstar singer Sioo - these collaborators have come together to create something truly special. It’s more than a farmers market… it’s neighbors supporting neighbors, local artists sharing their gifts, families making memories, and small businesses growing together.

These are the moments that remind me what Rhode Island is all about. Homegrown. Authentic. Full of heart. Thank you LUPE AGUILAR for the opportunity. ❤️

Come experience the incredible community vibes for yourself every Sunday from 10 AM–2 PM. (gardencitycenter.com)

One year ago, we took a leap of faith. ✨

The Search was never just about finding the next great singer, dancer, or performer. It was about creating a place where every voice matters, every dream deserves a chance, and every artist has a story worth telling.

Over the past year, we’ve watched strangers become family, confidence replace doubt, and stages become places of healing, courage, and hope. We’ve seen artists discover their gifts, rediscover their purpose, and a community come together to celebrate creativity with open hearts.

To everyone who auditioned, volunteered, judged, sponsored, partnered with us, supported from the audience, or simply believed in this vision—thank you. You helped prove that Rhode Island’s greatest resource isn’t just its history or its coastline; it’s its people.

As we celebrate our first year, we’re filled with gratitude for what God has done and inspired by everything still to come. Here’s to every dream that’s been awakened, every friendship that’s been formed, and every stage still waiting to be filled.

The Search is just getting started. ❤️
