The “3-Day” Cranston Greek Festival will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation on the parish grounds at 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Route 5, Cranston, RI. 2025 “3-Day” CRANSTON GREEK FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER 5th, 6th and 7th

anston Greek Festival over the course of this exciting three-day event of Food, Fun, Greek Dancing, Greek Religion and Culture. Location: The 39th Annual “3-Day” Cranston Greek Festival will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation on the parish grounds at 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Route 5, Cranston, RI. Admission is FREE.

2025 DATES & TIMES:

Friday, September 5 5 PM – 10 PM
Saturday, September 6 12 Noon – 10 PM
Sunday, September 7 12 Noon – 8 PM

The Festival is held under the “Big Tents”, rain or shine. Greek Food:
Guests sample a wide variety of Greek food including roast lamb, Greek-style chicken, souvlaki (skewered pork), pastitsio (a truly delectable “Greek Lasagna”), spanakopita (“spinach pie”) tiropita (“cheese pie”). Our pastry booth offers hand-made Greek pastries prepared by teams of our own parishioners, including our famous Baklava, Galaktoboureko and Rice Pudding. The pastry selection also includes karidopita (Greek Walnut Cake), kourabiedes (Wedding Cookies), koulourakia (Greek Butter Cookies), and melomakarona (Honey Cookies). Guests of the Cranston Greek Festival can enjoy our Greek pastries with authentic Greek coffee, or a “Greek Frappe” (iced coffee). Entertainment, Religion & Culture:
The Annunciation Parish’s own Odyssey Dance Troupe will perform traditional Greek Dances. Odyssey Dance Troupe performances feature dances from mainland Greece and the Greek Islands. Live Greek music will be performed throughout the event. Spontaneous, impromptu Greek Dancing breaks out constantly during the entire 3-Day, Cranston Greek Festival. Everyone is invited to join in these dances. Please visit our website and page for the complete schedule of entertainment, religious services and cultural presentations. Tours of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church give Greek Festival guests the opportunity to learn about the Greek “Eastern” Orthodox Christian Church — the second largest Christian communion in the world; with a global following of roughly 250 million people. For the safety of our guests, pets are not permitted at the Cranston Greek Festival. Service animals are allowed. FREE Parking:
Free parking is available on the neighborhood streets. Additional parking is available at Cranston West High School. There is a free shuttle bus service, RUNNING CONTINUOUSLY, from the Cranston West High School parking lot, to and from the Cranston Greek Festival. Handicapped parking is available on the church grounds.
