Ocean Business Comes to America (Rhode Island, specifically).

OceanBusiness, one of the world’s leading hands-on ocean science and technology events, has selected Rhode Island for its inaugural USA event. More than 1,500 professionals, 100 exhibitors and 75 live, on-water demonstrations are expected September 28-30 at Safe Harbor New England Boatworks.

Governor Dan McKee shared the news during his remarks at the BlueTIDE Polaris MEP event yesterday afternoon among a packed crowd of ocean economy leaders. This is another reflection our state’s innovation and leadership in the ocean economy – showcasing ocean tech companies, researchers, and talent to a global audience and creating new opportunities for investment, contracts and high-paying jobs.
