“Mayor” (as we yell over the walkies) thanks for all of your support and dealing with Shelley and I. Rick, band coordinator, thank you for the lineups, always amazing! Friday line spraying for all the vendor spots with Scott and Turtle, ID tent volunteers, staff tent volunteers, random friends who care to make sure everyone is behaving, the list goes on and the help doesn’t go unnoticed. Our sponsors help us out more than I think many people know. We can’t do what we do without their support. I want them to know how important they are to us! Fireworks that are amazing, the best bands, kids rides, shuttle buses, bathrooms, special events/entertainment, golf carts for transporting vendors to and from
their site, (I took a few carts to the ATM so we may need to have that next year), also us volunteers who don’t want to walk 30k steps a day 🤷🏼‍♀️, tables, chairs and tents and so much more. We want to thank them! Seriously, we appreciate you!!

A little festival reality check… because apparently we need one. 🙃

To the people leaving comments on the posters that we post for the festival…
PLEASE try doing a little research before posting questions. The information isn’t exactly hidden. 😂

Stefanie and I both have FULL-TIME JOBS. The festival is NOT our job. We volunteer our time because we love this community and want to give everyone a great festival to enjoy.

We don’t HAVE to make posters.
We don’t HAVE to make multiple posts.
We don’t HAVE to answer every email, phone call, text and Facebook comment.
And we definitely don’t HAVE to spoon-feed every single piece of information to everyone.

We could literally just say, “Show up Saturday and find out!” 🤷‍♀️😂

But instead, we spend MONTHS putting this thing together. We coordinate vendors, entertainment, activities, contracts, schedules, permits, logistics, payments, emails, phone calls, texts and about a thousand other things that nobody sees.

So when we take the time to make a poster and post information, READ IT. And if the answer isn't there, Google is still free. 😉 A little initiative goes a long way.

And to the people who appreciate what goes into this, share our posts, support the festival, volunteer, say thank you, or simply understand that two volunteers cannot possibly anticipate and answer every question someone might have — THANK YOU. ❤️ Stef and I truly appreciate you.

As for the keyboard warriors… we see you. 😂

It’s really easy to sit behind a keyboard and complain about what you think we should be doing. Maybe instead, just appreciate the fact that two people are giving up countless hours of their own time to make this happen.🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m sorry for the rant… actually, no I’m not. 😂 We’re exhausted, we’re busy, and we’re doing the absolute best we can.

So maybe before complaining about everything that isn’t being done, take a second to appreciate everything that IS.
Now… back to work. Because apparently we have a festival to pull off. 😏😂
