🩸 MEET OUR MONSTERS MONDAY: THE SILENCED 🩸
There are things that happened in Blackwater that were never meant to leave these woods.
He knows all of them.
Long before Blackwater disappeared from the maps, he was just another man living outside town.
Then people started vanishing.
Children disappeared from their beds.
Travelers abandoned their vehicles along the road.
Strange ceremonies could be heard deep in the woods after midnight.
And one night…
he followed the voices.
What he discovered was something Blackwater's cult had spent years hiding.
He saw where the missing people were going.
He learned why the children were being taken.
And most importantly…
he saw who was behind it.
He tried to warn people.
That was his mistake.
The cult couldn't kill him.
According to their beliefs, anyone who witnessed their ceremonies belonged to Blackwater forever.
So they did something worse.
They silenced him.
His mouth was sealed so he could never speak of what he'd seen.
Then they left him in the woods.
Years passed.
Whatever humanity remained inside him slowly disappeared.
Now he walks the same roads where they abandoned him, searching for outsiders who wander too close to the truth.
He doesn't scream.
He can't.
He doesn't warn you.
He won't.
He simply watches.
And when he finds someone asking too many questions…
he takes them deeper into Blackwater.
Because after all these years, The Silenced finally learned the most important rule of the cult:
**DEAD MEN LEAVE BODIES.
SILENCED MEN LEAVE SECRETS.**
So if you see him standing beneath the red lights at Haunted Plantation…
Don't ask him what happened.
Don't ask him where the missing people went.
And whatever you do…
DON'T TRY TO MAKE HIM TALK.
Because The Silenced may have lost his voice…
but he still knows exactly how to make you lose yours.

MEET OUR MONSTERS MONDAY: THE LOST CHILDREN
If you see a child standing alone on the road after dark…
DO NOT STOP.
Years ago, when the town Blackwater began to fall, the children were the first to disappear.
For weeks, families searched the woods. They called their names. They left lanterns burning in windows hoping their children would find their way home.
Eventually…
some of them did.
But something had changed.
The children who returned didn't remember their families. They didn't cry. They didn't ask to go home.
They simply stood at the edge of the woods and waited.
Because while they were missing, something inside the town found them first.
The cult taught them that outsiders were the reason the town was dying—and that every new soul brought into the woods made the town stronger.
So the children were given a purpose:
BRING THEM IN.
That's why they appear lost.
That's why they cry.
That's why they'll whisper:
"Please… can you help me find my way home?"
But there is no home.
Follow one into the darkness and you'll begin hearing whispers coming from places where nobody is standing.
You'll forget which direction you came from.
You'll swear you've walked past the same tree three times.
And eventually, you'll hear chanting.
That's when you'll realize…
the child wasn't lost.
YOU WERE.
