Some things just need to make it onto the calendar. We are down to the last few weeks of flower season here at The Flower Meadow, and before we know it, the flowers will be gone until spring!
I know how busy life gets this time of year. Between football games, school activities, fall festivals, and everything else on the calendar, it’s easy to keep putting things off until next weekend.
But here’s your reminder that you don’t need a special occasion to come pick flowers. Grab a girlfriend you haven’t seen in a while, bring your mom, make it a lunch date with your coworkers, or just come spend a little time doing something for yourself.
There’s something about walking through the meadow, picking out your favorite flowers, and putting together a bouquet that’s completely your own. It’s not something you do every day, and maybe that’s what makes it so special.
We only get to do this for a few months each year, and we’re getting awfully close to the end of this one.
So while you’re looking at your calendar tonight and figuring out the week ahead, make a little room for time with someone special surrounded by flowers!
