Ben West of Macon, GA, the Newton County Rodeo Bullfighter for 2023, 2024, and 2025, was named International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) Bullfighter of the Year at the IPRA International Finals Rodeo (IFR56) Rodeo Gala. In addition to this honor, Ben was selected as one of only three bullfighters to work IFR56 during this week’s performances.

The Newton County Rodeo was also recognized, earning a spot as one of the Top 5 Arena Rodeos of 2025.

The Michigan State University Spartan Stampede Championship Rodeo in East Lansing, Michigan, was selected as the Top Indoor Rodeo of the Year.

Dusty Myers, the 2024 Newton County Rodeo Clown, was honored as the Top IPRA Clown of 2025.

Congratulations as well to the Shady Dale Rodeo, celebrating its 41st Annual event, for being named the 2025 IPRA Outdoor Rodeo of the Year.
