Darkotica

Just got word that DJ Pat O'Reilly passed away last week. For those of you that did not know Pat started Darkotica at The Dock back around 2002. He based it around his time as a resident DJ for 1470's and to say that Pat was a legend in DJ scene is selling him short. After Warehouse closed Darkotica took over the reigns and it was because of his foresight that the alt/goth community in Cincinnati was as strong as it was and lasted as long as it did. He was also a guest at Warehouse on many occasions.
On a side note Pat was not only an insanely good DJ he was also a really nice guy. In a world of jockeying for spots and sabotage all Pat wanted was to keep people on the floor dancing. He was a star in the Dayton and Cincinnati scene and now is a light above us all. RIP Pat.

For those of you that don't know Morgan was a patron of Warehouse and later Darkotica. She was involved in a head-on collision last week that made the news. She is a great person and didn't deserve this misfortune coming home from work. Her family set up a fund to help her kids as she's still in a medically induced coma. Please donate or pass the word around.
