Some dancers leave a piece of themselves in the studio long after they take their final bow… and Avery Bourg is certainly one of them. 🤍
As we share Avery’s final solo, “Before My Time,” we can’t help but reflect on how incredibly proud we are of this beautiful young lady and all she has accomplished.
Avery closed out her senior year in the most incredible way. Avery was named one of the Top 5 Senior Elite Dancers at WEST COAST DANCE EXPLOSION 💥 Nationals! ✨ What an amazing accomplishment and such a testament to the years of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and heart she has poured into her passion.
And now, a brand-new chapter begins as Avery heads to Southampton, Massachusetts, to continue her dance education at CLI Conservatory. We could not be more excited for her!
There is something so bittersweet about watching a dancer you have watched grow up perform her final solo. As teachers, we know our job is ultimately to prepare them for the day they are ready to leave our studio walls and spread their wings… but that certainly doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.
Avery, we hope you know how proud we are of the dancer you have become, but even more importantly, the young lady you have become. Take everything you’ve learned, trust yourself, know your worth, continue to work hard, stay humble, and soak up every single moment of this next adventure.
“Before My Time” may have been your last solo with Northshore, but something tells us… your time is only beginning. ✨🤍
