We present 4 plays & 1 musical from September through July, as well as programs for children aged 6 to 16, and Readers Theatre. has staged productions in “The Barn” nestled in the San Souci forest north of Covington, producing five full shows per year including four dramas and comedies and a summer musical, and a holiday show in December. Along with summer theater camps for children ages 6-16, Pla

ymakers gives interested persons the opportunity to join in and participate in the staging of live theatre. In its long history, through hurricanes and fires, Playmakers has not missed a season, making it one of the oldest continually running theaters in the country. The theatre building, an almost exact replica of the original barn where the theater was housed, seats 160+ patrons.
