Congratulations to the Covington Charger Marching band on a fantastic end to a great season. We may not have made finals at the Tennessee Division II State contest but the band did receive ratings of Percussion—Excellent, Color Guard— Excellent, Drum Major — Excellent and Band Excellent out of 28 bands. Not bad considering the CHS band was the smallest group competing. Purple People, Purple Pride!!!!

Congratulations 🎊 to the band students who participated in the University of Memphis honor band. From left to right was Dylan Newman-trumpet, Lydia Chumley-trombone, William Hanks-Tuba, Reagan Williams-saxophone, Akira Williamson-trombone, and Ana Montoya-flute. They have had 2 days of rehearsals and master classes with other area school band members. They gave a outstanding performance this past Saturday At the U of M's newest Recital hall. We are very proud of them representing the best of the CHS Charger Band!! Purple People, Purple Pride!!

A huge shout out to our Covington band members. The Band worked the local Unilever Family Picnic on Saturday 5th of October. It was an all-day event. The kids had a great time and worked hard. They received many complements from the employees.
