Creative Crafters class is back in session! Are you familiar with paint sticks? They are so much fun to use, no water required, and the paint dries super quick. In this craft kids painted two long strips of paper and learned a new folding technique to create our slinky snakes. So everyone took home a new pet and some even went home and made a den for their snake! 🐍

Summer Camp 2024 was a hit! Thanks again to for capturing these moments! The Collab Covington is always the perfect venue to host our camps and the new suite has so much space. Keep an eye out for our holiday camps!

In this class we used paper left over from another project and put it to good use! The first step was to cut strips to create a beautiful collage. The room sounded like we had a visit from Edward Sissorhands with one little boy proclaiming, "This is my favorite project yet!" Music to my ears!

This one was fun! I just love how everyone's zebra turned out- each one unique and different. Some of the kids decided to use watercolors and a sponge and came up with a new technique. They are so proud, as they should be!!!

Believe it or not, these little rockets can fly up to 3 feet high! Our crafters used a balloon to create the resistance needed to help them get to new heights and they quickly figured out that by modifying the size of the cork or taping several together it soars even higher than that! We have some real innovators in this group!

In craft class last week the kids made cartoon characters! We spent a lot of time brainstorming before we started. Sometimes looking at a blank sheet of paper can be overwhelming but when you tap into your creative side and use your imagination anything is possible! I'm so proud of their work!
