We are getting ready for our inaugural Christmas in July Market on the Square this Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Covington Square! Over 80 booths, Santa, Square merchants, face painting by Facepainting Fairies, children's books from Newton County Schools Literacy 4 Georgia grant (L4GA) and music by Spence Dj Scottie! Did we mention pink flamingos in Santa hats? There are so many great booths to check out including:

It’s been a little while but I wanted to share a few recent projects. The table and island were salvage projects. The stainless tops are drip pans from a project we did a few years back and the cedar is some fence boards (cleaned up) 😁

The renovation project at the house has kept me out of the shop in the evenings but I found a little time to make a cheese cutter. Walnut and maple turned out pretty good for the first one.

I’ve been pretty quiet lately… working on a top secret project for our newest addition to the Colletta family. Malley Jane Colletta will be here in November and she will have an incredibly sturdy and very heavy 😂 crib to sleep in. Leigh Hunt and I delivered it to Cade Colletta and Sydney Kate Colletta today so I can finally share pictures. I’m so happy that she will be sleeping in a crib that her Papa Mike built.❤️

A special cutting board for my Aunt and Uncle, the cedar board in the middle was cut by my uncle and his father-in-law in 1974. I was fortunate to be on the receiving end of several of these boards ( thanks uncle Doug )

It’s been a little while… vacation, covid and shop remodel have me a little behind. This TV stand will be heading to William’s house in Athens as soon as I get some stain on it. Feels good to be back in the shop.
