Mural 44/50 is complete in Medford, New Jersey! I had the pleasure of creating this mural for James Jefferson with the Warrior Island Universe . His business is all about health, wellness, & fun. He has the coolest obstacle course on his property and an oasis for all of the events he hosts. From his comic book series, to personal fitness, to his love of inspiring kids to train their body and mind to be the best they can be. Not to mention the work he does to build community & to uplift local businesses. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a cooler space and person to work with on this one. We wanted the artwork to somehow encapsulate the best of both New Jersey & the space he has created. So below you can find:
A bald eagle, blue heron, hummingbird, raccoon, iguana, an island oasis, ocean view, sunset, native pine trees, blueberries & cranberries. I spent 6.5 hrs painting this piece yesterday and I CANNOT EVEN begin to explain just how much fun it was to bring all of these elements to life on the wall. I'm so grateful to have met Rebekah Cook Art in Wakefield, Rhode Island who reached out to her brother in Medford, New Jersey who welcomed the & let a stranger paint on his house. 🩵 Glad to have spent time in downtown Medford & to meet people who genuinely make the world a little better. Feeling so blessed and inspired 🖌️
