This one is identical to the previous whip by request of the client who is also a Texas cattle rancher. This whip like the one before it has a 10" handle and a 6' thong measuring from the transition knot to the hitch.

A western classic. This one has a 10" handle with a 6' thong. The colors are chocolate brown and beige. This whip is also waxed and will develop a leathery look to it as it is used. It has a 14x12 herringbone knot on the heel which adds to the classic look with a 5 strand u2o2 wrist loop.

Here are some examples of the entry-level whips that Tory and I have been working on.
They are simple but effective as you can see in his post.
The idea is to provide a product to introduce whips to people and generate interest to those with little or no experience with whips at an affordable price. I work a lot of local sales and a lot of customers show interest in whips but are not prepared to invest in a full-size whip. These entry-level whips can provide a bridge to an eventual upgrade to a regular size whip and further grow the love for whips and the whip cracking community.
