Hi friends! You’re invited to come to my studio and see how I’ve been working with the iconic tumbleweed. Several are hanging in the harvester gallery and my Studio. It's been a week since my brother John returned home after a very long and demanding hospitalization due to the effects of West Nile virus. Along the way, there have been many Earth Angels-- those in the health care system that demonstrate compassion, give care that is sincere and trustworthy, and maintain a patient's sense of dignity. In the ICU, Celeste was one of those Earth Angels and she has the same birthday as John (4-24-1973). You can see a photo in the update on John's GoFundMe, just click on the link. Hi Friends! Here's a little background on the photo I chose for my brother John's cover pic on his GoFundMe. He's smiling, happy to be alive AND supported. This day, May 9th, was 6 days after his arrival back to Madonna in Lincoln, Nebraska where the care is the best to our experience in the case of my brother. The sparkle in his eyes returned. Some things John was doing at On With Life in Ankeny, Iowa in the weeks before he was released to go home, Tuesday, September 10th. He lives in Mondamin, Iowa. My sister Jackie and I will be visiting him and his family tomorrow evening 🙂
