A question we've been hearing is, "how will Westfair be able to sustain these updates and improvements?" In this video, Connie Casson, Friends of Westfair Committee Chair, explains exactly how that’s possible.

"The truth is, without improvements, Westfair cannot bring in sustainable revenue. However, with the updates being made, Westfair becomes a destination for events from all over the region. We anticipate hosting more than triple the events than we currently are able. This campaign isn’t about building just for the sake of it, it’s about building smart, creating a space that isn’t only sustainable, but profitable for our region’s economy."

Modernizing Westfair means more opportunities for EVERYONE!

Currently, Westfair is a three season facility and accessibility can be difficult for older adults or anyone with physical disabilities. The updated buildings will provide improved mobility access and climate controlled buildings, allowing for Westfair to be available YEAR-ROUND! Not only for the county fair or concerts, but for youth sports tournaments, conferences, classroom programs, celebrations and more!

Westfair has always been a place for people to come together and feel like they belong and these improvements will only deepen that impact.
