September is coming to a close, and with it, the matching opportunity provided to The Spirit of Westfair campaign by the Iowa West Foundation .

If you’ve been thinking about making a gift to The Spirit of Westfair, now is the time.

Every gift represents another person, family or business choosing to invest in a Westfair that will continue serving our youth, our communities and our region for generations to come.

We’ve built incredible momentum. The future of Westfair is taking shape. And as we close out September, we’re asking our community to help us finish this matching opportunity strong.

Make your gift by September 30 and be part of creating a future the past would be proud of.

Give securely through our partners, Community Foundation for Western Iowa, here: https://pccf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=6367

Come spend your Saturday at Westfair! We’ll kick off the day with the Square Body Truck show and end the day with the Pumpkin Smash Demo Derby!

The weather for tomorrow is looking GREAT, who is ready to smash some cars!?!?

Westfair Fairgrounds and Amphitheater
Showtime: 5PM

First, a shoutout to Mother Nature for FINALLY giving us some much needed sunshine yesterday and today! But an even BIGGER shoutout goes to some of the Westfair board members who have put in work to get the track and grounds ready for us.

After all the rain we’ve had over the last week, there was at one point around 10 inches of standing water on the track and in the pit area. I was out there last night, and they were working hard to get the water off and get things into shape so we can DERBY tomorrow!

There is still a chance of a thunderstorm overnight tonight, so the grounds will be soft tomorrow. PLEASE be considerate of the facility and respectful of the grounds. Westfair is gonna work hard to make sure we’re able to get this show in, and we want to leave the facility in the best shape possible.

See you there!! 🎃🏁

There’s something special about a gift that connects Westfair’s past to its future.

The Friends of Westfair are incredibly grateful to Lamar Hartje Post 725 - the Treynor American Legion - for their generous $5,000 gift to The Spirit of Westfair campaign.

Thank you for believing in what Westfair has been, and what it can become.

This is what it means to create a future the past would be proud of.
