Congratulations to our Thespian of the Week Jayce! He has been very hardworking and dedicated back stage and we all appreciate your help. We asked him some questions about being a Thespian and here’s what he said:

1. What does being a Thespian mean to you?

Being a thespian means to me, is to get outside of your comfort zone and do something that pushes you forward as a person, and stirs up self growth

2. What is your favorite aspect of ATORT?

My favorite aspect of ATORT is its ability to keep moving forward as a troupe even when it may get difficult for everyone.

3. What is your favorite actor/tech position you’ve done?

My favorite position thus far I think would be a lot of my ensamble roles for its dance versatility, and as of right now Long John Silver.

4. Do you have any advice for people wanting to get into theatre?

My advice is to put yourself out there especially when it’s uncomfortable, because you really have no idea where it’ll take you until you try. And to always respect others as you would like to be respected in the process.
