Meet the women behind Pretty n Proofed. 🤎🍞
Over 13 years ago, our friendship started with four simple words:
“I like your shirt.”
We were freshmen in high school with absolutely no idea that one tiny conversation would turn into a friendship that would follow us through damn near every season of life.
We’ve grown up together. We’ve watched each other change, struggle, heal, become moms, become wife’s, chase dreams, start over, laugh until we couldn’t breathe, cry when life got heavy, and somehow, through every version of ourselves, we’ve always found our way right back beside each other.
Then one day, after more than a decade of friendship, one of us said:
“You know what we should do?”
And instead of just talking about it like we’ve probably done with a hundred other ideas over the years…
we actually did it. 😂
And Pretty n Proofed was born. 🤎
What started as two best friends baking in the kitchen has slowly turned into something we’re incredibly proud to call ours. Every loaf, every batch of cookies, every cinnamon roll, every late-night bake, every flour-covered counter and every “girl, is this supposed to look like this?” 😂 has a little piece of us in it.
We’re learning as we go. We’re experimenting. We’re making mistakes, celebrating wins, creating flavors that probably sound a little crazy until you taste them, and building this dream together one loaf at a time.
Pretty n Proofed isn’t some big bakery with a team behind the scenes.
It’s us.
Two best friends who met as freshmen because of a shirt.
Two women who grew up side by side.
And now, two best friends standing in a kitchen, covered in flour, looking at something we built together and thinking…
