I am excited to announce that the 7th Installment of the Faith Under Fire Series, "Where There’s Smokes, There’s Fire" will be coming to the stage in the Fall of 2026. In this play, we'll pick up exactly where we left off in "After the Rain, and showcase the life of Scoop, and trust me, there is way more going on that you could ever imagine! We'll also address what's been happening in the lives of the other circle of friends: Jess, Amber, Omar, Manny, Asia, Ezra, Skye, Dory, introduce others, AND also bring back some familiar characters. So stay tuned for more details as they become available! You definitely do NOT want to miss this!

• In the 6th and most recent Installment of the Faith Under Fire Series we once again focus on Skye in "After the Rain". Our main goal was to figure out why in the world she tried to kill Dory, who she made known, was the love of her life. This is a prime example of when making the CHOICE to not communicate with your partner goes WRONG! Fortunately for Skye, she was completely exonerated for the crime because while in jail, she dreamed that she DIDN’T do it, it was her mother and she had completely blocked it out!! Dory recovered and Skye was released but how in the world did their relationship get there in the first place? Through counseling, some tough conversations, and forgiveness, they were able to find their way back to each other.

•After almost 2 years of being out of the country, Maya was finally coming home! She and Jess were able to talk, forgive, and started making plans for her return. Manny planned a surprise party, bought an engagement ring, and all the friends were eating and drinking and dancing and having a good time while they waited on her to arrive. Only she never did. The plane went down and there were no survivors. Maya was gone and the group was devastated. RIP Maya...

•In the midst of their grief and disbelief, Scoop gets a phone call, with a "There Goes My Baby" ringtone, which doesn't make sense because Jess was right there, and runs out of the building. Jess screams after him in confusion and anger but to no avail. He was gone...

In the 5th installment of The Faith Under Fire Series we tell Asia's story in "When Silence Speaks." Asia is living the life that most women dream of; the wife of a prominent Psychologist, big beautiful home, no bills, and a stay-at-home mother to a beautiful daughter. The life that she prayed for only in reality she's living her worst nightmare. Her baby doesn't like her and will not stop crying and her biggest accomplishment since giving birth, has been to master the ability to tune out all the noise. She had no maternal instinct at all and would rather watch paint dry then try to figure it out. Until her friend Amber told her that she's showing clear signs of Postpartum Depression, she had began to accept the fact that she had just lost her mind. Through extensive therapy, the support of her loving husband Dr. Ezra Cooper, and her family and friends, she was able to get her life back and be the doting mother that she desired.

Then Skye and Dory were drifting apart and because of his lack of communication, she was arrested for his attempted murder...

The 4th segment of The Faith Under Fire Series is called "Jess Another Day" where we tell the story of the loud, funny, life of the party character named Jess. Jess was everybody's best friend and was genuinely loved and respected by all of her friends. Until she injured her back and became addicted to prescription pain pills just to function. That addiction caused her to become a person who was unrecognizable. She lied, she stole, she hid things, and she acted inappropriately with her best friend's man just to feed her addiction. She went from being a well respected pillar in the community to being a ju**ie and until she was willing to go to rehab, no amount of faith in the world could help her reclaim her life. Then there was Scoop, the man who she had been chasing for years who prior to her addiction, showed zero interest in her. Something about her vulnerability in crisis wore him down and for the first time, he saw her in a new light. He wanted to love and protect her and he vowed to wait on her until she was ready. They have been together ever since...

The 3rd segment of The Faith Under Fire Series is called "The Clear Blue Skye" where we dug deep to uncover the truth and understand why Skye was the woman she was. After discovering that she was actually born to a homeless woman named Novi, who hand delivered her to a perfect stranger to raise, she also discovered an even uglier truth; she was also the product of a sexual assault by another homeless person. In spite it all, she was ready and willing to not focus on any of that and tried to build a relationship with her mother. Only Novi chose to meet her and then return to the only life she had ever known on the streets, leaving Skye grieving for what could never be...
•After allowing Dory to woo and pursue her, she finally let love in and began to embrace a newfound life of happiness, self-confidence, and a feeling of worthiness...

The second installment of The Faith Under Fire Series is "I Just Wanna Be Loved" where we tell the story of Omar Bishop. Whereas all of his friends were popular, athletes, and pretty boys, Omar was always put in the friend zone and had never been in a serious relationship. That is, until he met Skye. She was beautiful, fine, and for some odd reason, she seemed to be interested in him. She was definitely not shy about flirting with him, pursuing him, or spending his money, often labeled as a golddigger by his friends. After she walked into the club with another man, pretending as if she didn't know him, that sent Omar over the edge and he swallowed a half a bottle of pills barely escaping death by his own hand. When he finally woke up, he confessed his love to Amber who was the nurse who never left his side until he was completely out of the woods. Although it wasn't easy convincing her that God told him that she would be his wife, she's been by his side ever since...
