Did you know? 🧐

A ring-tail lemur’s tail is longer than its body. They use their tails to signal other members of their troop - especially when they are on the move. They also wrap their tails around themselves and other members of their troop for warmth and social bonding.

They cannot, however, hang from anything with their tails. They are not prehensile like many monkey’s have. In fact, lemurs aren’t monkeys at all! They are a completely different, and older, type of primate!

Zebras have strong social bonds and rely on the herd for protection and support. They live in structured groups where they form lasting relationships and look after one another, especially in the presence of predators. They also experience emotions such as fear, joy, and stress.

Did you know that a herd of zebras can alternatively be known as a dazzle? Come to Bee City and be dazzled by all the animals πŸ’–πŸ¦“

Cassowary ears are unique because they are large, completely exposed, and directly connected to the massive "helmet" on their heads. While most birds have their ear holes hidden beneath a layer of specialized feathers to reduce wind noise, the cassowary’s ear holes are clearly visible on the sides of its vibrant blue neck.
