Currently at Cedarhurst Mansion✨🦺🕊️

• Work continues on the main parking lot and retention pond, with gravel now complete and the area officially ready for asphalt 
• The overflow grass parking lot has been fully graded and is now ready for seeding
• Shingles have officially been installed on the atrium roof, with roof connections continuing next
• The rock base has been delivered and spread to create the foundation beneath what will soon be the future atrium and rose garden deck
• Front porch tile restoration is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks
• Construction on the front lawn privacy berm is officially underway
• The mansion grounds have been cleared and graded in preparation for new landscaping installations beginning mid-June
• Lastly, we removed the original elevator and plan for the installation of the new elevator beginning mid-June!

Week by week, more of the vision continues to take shape—and it’s exciting watching it all come to life.✨💫👏

A ballroom with stories woven into every detail.🕊️

Originally rooted in an 1860s farmhouse built for Charles O. Fanning, The Cedarhurst Mansion was later transformed into the grand country estate of Cordenio & Mary Frances Severance. Between 1911 and 1917, renowned architect Cass Gilbert (also the architect behind the historic Gilbert Building in St. Paul, home to sister venue 🤭) expanded the home into the breathtaking estate it is today—drawing inspiration from the elegance of an English country house.

And at the heart of it all…the ballroom wing.✨

Complete with three fireplaces, a historic pipe organ, and timeless architectural charm that has endured for over a century. A space designed for gathering, celebrating, and creating the kind of moments that feel larger than life.🤍

• Carpet removed in the soon-to-be Foundry Lounge, revealing the original hardwood floors underneath
• Carpet removed in the upstairs hallway lounge
• Demo has continued in the Coordenio Lounge and throughout the upstairs hallways
• Atrium update—foundation has been set and walls are officially going up!

Every step is bringing Cedarhurst Mansion closer to life—and it’s all happening so quickly. We can’t wait for what’s next.✨🛠️
