One day left to enjoy the 95th Annual Cottage Grove Firemen's Festival !!!

It's been an amazing weekend so far and we thank everyone who's come out to support us! We still have a ton of action today starting at noon with a car show, carnival, Home Talent Baseball, live music by James Crockett, concessions, and Kids Tractor Pull.

Last night was amazing! It was so good to see all the smiling happy faces coming out to support the Cottage Grove Fire Department!

REMINDER
The Parade starts at NOON today, with Main St road closures starting at 11am for the floats to line up. The Parade will begin at the intersection of Main & Taylor, heading south to Reynolds St. (See the map)

After the parade, join us at Firemen's Park for another fun filled day of food, rides, games, baseball, free live music and more!

Although we were rained out tonight, we are excited for the next 3 days of food, drinks, rides, games, music, baseball, co****le, Hot2Trot Cottage Grove Run-WI, parade, car show and more!

King Sies Fries moves into the live music leadoff position at 5pm Friday in the Old Timer's Tent, followed by Angels & Outlaws at 8pm in the Big Beer Tent. We have our Co****le Tournament starting at 6pm (registration at 5:30) and Rainbow Valley Rides Carnival from 5pm to 10pm.

We have burgers, brats, chicken tenders and more in the concession stand plus all your favorite deep fried fair treats along the midway.

The ground is still a bit soggy and we're doing our best to dry it out.

We look forward to seeing you all this weekend!

After checking this afternoon's forecast, we have made the decision not to open THURSDAY evening. We apologize for any inconvenience. Safety is our first priority and we still have 3 full days of activities and good weather the rest of the weekend.

We want to thank the Cottage Grove PTO and Music In The Grove for their assistance.

2026 CHANGE OF DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
We are excited to announce a change in dates for the Cottage Grove Firemen’s Festival next year. The Festival will be moved up one week from our traditional Father’s Day weekend. Dates for 2026 are Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th.

The reason behind this change is the retirement of David and Kim, owners of our previous carnival, Sheridan Amusements. They have been wonderful to work with and we wish them the best as they now have time to travel and spend time with their grandchildren.

In our search for a new carnival, we have chosen Rainbow Valley Rides. You may recognize them from Sun Prairie’s Cornfest. Although they are already booked for Father’s Day weekend, we are fortunate they had the previous weekend available.

We are excited for the move off Father’s Day and expect a larger turnout as many families plan other special activities to celebrate their dads.

All our other Festival events will remain! Free live music, parade, car show, Hot2Trot, games, rides, food and fun! We hope this change will allow you and your family more time to enjoy all we have to offer.

Our Festival is first and foremost the largest fundraiser of the year for the Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department. The funds from this year’s festival, along with grant funds from Ascendium allowed us to purchase a Firevent training prop without any tax dollars. The prop has been ordered and we expect delivery next spring.

We sincerely appreciate all the support from the community and local businesses who have made purchases like these possible over the years.
