For me, it was my first tiny home - 87 sq. ft.! I lived there for 4 years and LOVED it! 😍 In 2020, I increased my living space by an extra 13 sq. ft. when moved into the short bus that I still live in today.

A: Not much at all! The industry is going strong and I'm not leaving tiny living. Actually, just the opposite is happening - I'm re-embracing simple living, or as my friend The Tiny House Concierge calls it - slow living. 😌
I still live in my tiny bus. My tiny house was bought as an investment and used as a vacation rental - one of 3 on our property. The extra income was nice, but I'm ready to downsize my responsibilities. I've spent a lot of time cleaning and maintaining the rentals- time I wish to spend in other ways. It brings me joy to provide a relaxing little getaway for people but it also brings me joy not to have 3 yards to mow 😂
Other deciding factors: my rentals' occupancy rates have decreased (despite great reviews), my other projects could really use an influx of cash right now 😉 and then there's the loft issue... This is where my sale aligns with industry trends - fewer and fewer tiny home lovers are loving a loft. For me, a few family members whom I wanted to provide a getaway spot for either aren't able to comfortably use the stairs (to the bigger loft) or aren't comfortable having their young kids in a loft with a ladder (the smaller loft).
So, it feels like the right time to sell. Anyone in the market for a lovely little double lofted tiny home?
