🇮🇹 Real Italian gelato>>>

I swear there’s always a line whenever I’m at Spectrum so I finally gave in lol.

Pistachio was sooo good — super creamy, really nutty, and not crazy sweet. The milk flavor was fire too. Honestly if it’s your first time, just get those two and you’re good.

Found out after that it was actually started by Italians, they make the gelato fresh in-store every day, and even use pistachios + hazelnuts from Italy.

Okayyy I get the hype now 😂

Irvine Spectrum · HUGE & legit Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet 🇹🇼🍗

Every time I’m at Spectrum, I’m either getting Din Tai Fung or this 😂
And honestly, their chicken leg is the real star. I’ve had it sooo many times and it still hits every single time. Brought my friend this time and we came too late — it was already sold out 😭

Also, don’t skip the king oyster mushrooms. Out of all the fried stuff, they somehow taste super fresh, juicy, and tender.

For the chicken cutlet, I usually just get the combo. Super worth it. If it gets a little heavy halfway through, I’ll literally stuff it into the bun and turn it into a chicken sandwich 😂 The curly fries that come with it are really good too.

Chicken leg > king oyster mushroom > chicken cutlet

NaiSnow dropped a new beetroot drink and waittt it’s actually so good 😭❤️

I thought it was gonna taste super earthy but it’s actually really fruity and easy to drink. Plus the color is sooo cute.

They’re doing a promo rn too — buy 2 and you get a cute little hand towel lol.
Was only gonna get one but obviously had to get two 😂

This store is actually dangerous 😭

I came in to find a gift for my friend… and somehow left with a bunch of things for myself 😂

If you never know what to get your girlfriends besides flowers or cake, SAVE THIS PLACE!!

I heard about this store last year but had no idea it was THIS fun to browse. They have so many niche perfumes, candles, diffusers and little fragrance finds that you don’t see everywhere. Everything feels so pretty and well curated too — honestly, you could pick almost anything here and it would make such a cute gift.

They even have these fluffy little charms based on your MBTI personality 🥹 SO CUTE. Obviously I ended up getting one for my car lol.

Such a good spot for birthdays, housewarming gifts, or when you’re going to a friend’s place and don’t want to show up empty-handed.

Just don’t blame me if you go in shopping for someone else and leave with a gift for yourself too 😂

SGV’s late-night skewer spot that’s PACKED every night!! 🔥

📍Meet U BBQ 遇见烧烤 — San Gabriel

Fall is here and the crabs right now are SOOO FAT 🦀 Their new shrimp & crab pot is such a steal — 3 HUGE roe-packed crabs for only $45!! The roe was literally bursting out 😭

They fry the crabs first, then cook them in the sauce, so they soak up ALL that flavor. We got mild, but honestly… just go medium or spicy 🌶️ Mild was way too easy lol.

Their skewers are mostly fried. We tried a bunch and these are my MUST-GETS:

🦪 OYSTERS — MUST MUST GET
That garlic sauce is CRAZY GOOD. The oysters are huge and super plump too. Honestly better than some I’ve had at night markets in China. My FAV!!

🐷 DA YOU BIAN
I think it’s $5.99 for 3 and the portion is HUGE. It’s the muscle around the pig’s heart — super chewy and bouncy. If you’ve never tried it, GET IT!! Cheap, filling, and sooo good. I ate a few and was already half full 😂

🐔 CHICKEN FEET
Braised first, then fried. Crispy outside, soft and sticky inside. Eat them HOT. So good!!

🍢 CHICKEN CARTILAGE + WINGS
Both are solid! Nothing surprising, just exactly the kind of good you’d expect 😂

🫷🏻 FRIED CHICKEN SKIN — SKIP
Way too dry 😭 Fried to the point where I couldn’t even tell what I was eating anymore.

🌶️ HOT & SOUR GLASS NOODLES
My friend told me I HAD to order this and she was right. Sour, spicy, super flavorful. SO GOOD.

BTW their sauce/snack bar doesn’t open until around 6PM.

And the white fungus sweet soup??? I was already FULL and still drank TWO whole bowls before I finally left 😭😂

Weekend tip: COME EARLY!! Around 6PM people suddenly start pouring in and the whole place fills up FAST.

Next time I’m pulling up at 5-something hahahahaha 😂
